Ferryman Supporting Shelter Cymru Charity in 2022

The team at Ferryman are proud sponsors of Shelter Cymru, and all the hard work they do for those dealing with housing issues. We at Ferryman really support the cause Shelter Cymru stand for which is to defend the right to a safe home in Wales. In what have been a very testing few years for people and charities we want to support and raise awareness of the incredible work Shelter do during these difficult times in people’s lives. We know that every donation counts and our sponsorship of Shelter is important to us as a company.

We have been supporting Shelter since earlier in the year and have already undertaken some fundraising efforts with more in the pipeline.

We have raised money through raffling off 6 Nations Rugby Tickets among the staff, through a sponsored Newport Half Marathon and ongoing sales of Ferryman merchandise to our followers. Our very own Trucker Jenko has been vlogging about the merchandise and also has been taking it along to Truck Shows for fellow enthusiasts to purchase. All proceeds go to charity.

We are working alongside Penny and the team at Shelter to create more fundraising events and opportunities and will be releasing details soon.

For now if you are interested in donating to Shelter Cymru you can do this on our Just Giving Page. Any amount helps this great charity. For donations of £15 or more we will send a Ferryman Thermal Mug and Ferryman Air Freshener to you. All you have to do is send us an email at info@ferryman.org.uk letting us know you donated, giving us your name and the address for postage.

Check out our Anniversary Lorries

To celebrate 30 years trading as a Limited company in March 2021 we released 3 special edition lorries to commemorate this achievement.

As you may have seen on our news and social media we worked alongside Euro Commercials to add 3 Mercedes-Benz Lorries to the fleet.

All three were new Actros’s and one was a Limited Edition 1. The special edition wraps from Popin Vehicle Graphics really added some flare to the already amazing trucks.
